川崎ブレイブサンダースでは、勝久ジェフリー氏がヘッドコーチを退任することとなりましたのでお知らせいたします。なお、勝久氏は2026-27シーズンよりアソシエイトコーチに就任し、引き続きチームと共に戦っていただきます。

勝久氏は、直近の2シーズンにおいてシーズン途中からチームの指揮を引き継ぐ形となりましたが、そのような難しい局面においても、常に最前線で情熱を持って戦い抜き、力強くチームを牽引くださいました。

来シーズンからはアソシエイトコーチとしてその知見と経験を活かし、引き続きチームを支える役割を担っていただきます。これまでの多大なる献身に深く感謝の意を表すると共に、来シーズンも一緒に戦えることをクラブとして大変心強く感じております。

サンダースファミリーの皆さんへ、

今シーズンの最初から最後までチームを揺るぎなく支えていただき、心より感謝申し上げます。チャンピオンシップに進出するという目標を持ち、より良い成績を残せるようにチームでファイトし続けていく中で皆さんの後押しは我々にとって欠かせないものでした。

全選手とスタッフ一同は目標にコミットし、毎日を大切にしながらハードワークを続けました。しかし、目標に近づくことが出来なかったことは私のヘッドコーチとしての責任です。今シーズン歩んだ過程や、チームを良くするための様々な意思決定を振り返り、必ず今シーズンのチームを取り巻く全ての方々の努力が明るい未来につながるようにしなければなりません。

もう一つ今シーズンチームとして大事にしていたことはクラブアイデンティティと文化であるBE BRAVEの再構築でした。このクラブは1950年にチームが誕生して以来、長い歴史を通して沢山の方々の努力と犠牲がチームの土台となって今の我々が存在しています。我々はコートに立つたびに、過去から現在にわたりクラブに携わる全てのファミリーの皆さんへの感謝の気持ちと、応援していただいている方々へ何かを届けたいという気持ちで臨んでいます。

成績で皆さんに恩返しをすることは出来ませんでしたが、選手とスタッフの最後まで成長しようとする努力は誇らしく思います。また、最後までチームのアイデンティティと文化を作ることに気持ちを込めて取り組んでいる姿勢も必ず明るい未来につながると信じています。数多くの新しい選手とスタッフが今シーズンチームに加わってくれましたが、一人ひとりがBE BRAVEを体現することに対して信じてコミットしていただいたことに感謝しています。また、長くチームに携わってきた選手とスタッフやBE BRAVEを常に体現しているベテランと一緒に今シーズンチャレンジ出来たことはとても光栄なことでした。

最後に、ファミリーの皆さんにどれほどのエネルギーを最初から最後までチームに注入していただいたかを考えると、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。とどろきでもアウェーでも皆さんの作り上げる空間は特別でした。より多くの勝利で恩返しが出来なかったことが一番悔やまれます。ホームでもアウェーでも、勝っても負けても、皆さんが作り上げる空間はこのクラブのアイデンティティと文化の大きな力だと思います。皆さんの前でプレー出来ることは本当に光栄なことです。

ヘッドコーチとしてのチャレンジは続きませんが、アソシエイトコーチという立場でこのクラブで新たなフェーズを迎えられることをとても嬉しく光栄に思います。B.PREMIER で様々なチャレンジが待っていると思いますが、チームとして更なる高みを目指し、アイデンティティと文化を更に強いものにしていけることを楽しみにしています。

皆さんにまた来シーズンお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。

To all of our Brave Thunders Family,

Thank you for your unwavering support this season. It really meant a lot to us as we fought to improve upon our record and reach our goal of qualifying for the championships. The players and staff were fully committed to the process and worked hard each day.

In the end we fell short of our goal, and as the Head Coach I assume responsibility for the result. I must reflect on the process we took and the decisions we made to try to improve our team and make sure that the efforts of all involved this season connect to a brighter future.

Another important aspect of this season was to recommit to our BE BRAVE identity and culture. This club is built on the foundation of all the people that have come before us in its long history, dating back to its founding in 1950. None of what we do is possible without the people that have come before us, and the sacrifices of countless people on and off the court. Through our play we want to honor everyone who is associated with this club, both past and present.

While our record didn’t meet your expectations, I am proud of the players and staff for working to improve until the end, and trying to make a positive impact on our identity and culture for the future of the club. Many new players and staff joined our team this season and contributed to the rebuilding of our identity. I am extremely grateful for their buy-in and commitment. To our players and staff who have been with the team for several seasons and to our veterans who embodied our BE BRAVE identity day in and day out, it was an honor once again to work together this season.

Additionally, I am filled with gratitude when I think about how much energy you, our Brave Thunders family poured into us this season from start to finish. The atmosphere you created both at Todoroki Arena and on the road was amazing to be a part of. We wished we could have reciprocated what you gave us this season with more wins. The atmosphere that you Brave Thunders family create, home or away, win or lose, I believe is a huge part of the club’s identity and culture. It’s a privilege to play in front of you.

While I will not be continuing as Head Coach, I am happy and honored to be entering the next phase of the club as an Associate Coach. We will face many new challenges in the new B.PREMIER, and I am eager to further our development as a team as we strive to reach new heights and even further solidify our identity and culture as a team.

I’m excited to be seeing you all next season.
